When these homeowners first reached out, they had a clear vision for how they wanted to use their backyard. Like many busy families, their weeks were full, so they were looking for a new outdoor space that could become a place to reconnect on evenings and weekends. Somewhere to relax, entertain friends, and spend more time together throughout the year.
Just as importantly, they wanted the space to feel like a natural extension of their home — like it had always belonged there.
Building it the right way
Our team designed and built the entire space — from the pool, patios, and covered pavilion to the outdoor kitchen, hot tub area, lighting, gardens, and lawn.
One of the biggest challenges was navigating Oakville’s strict permit and stormwater management requirements. In addition to standard permits, the project required a full engineered stormwater management plan, grading plans, and specialized neighbourhood assessments to determine the size and capacity of the soakaway systems needed for approval.
It was a detailed process, but in the end every piece came together exactly as planned.
Pool & Water Feature

Clean lines and calm water create a strong foundation — but the sheer descent feature is what makes this pool a true centrepiece. The gentle sound of water, the inviting space for a quiet swim, and the way it anchors the entire layout all work together to transform the backyard. Outdoor Kitchen
The unofficial gathering spot
Built for easy entertaining, this fully equipped outdoor kitchen keeps everything close at hand. From ordinary weeknight dinners to special weekend hosting, it’s a space that lets you cook and connect while never having to go too far from the fun.
Covered Pavillion
Comfort, covered
Just steps from the pool, the covered pavilion creates a natural place to gather. With a built-in fire feature, warm lighting, and comfortable seating, it extends the use of the space well into the evening — and across the seasons.
Hot Tub Area
A quiet place to unwind
Tucked just off the main patio, the hot tub offers a more private retreat within the backyard. Surrounded by soft lighting and thoughtful landscaping, it’s the perfect spot to relax and recharge at the end of the day.
Where weekends now happen
Today, the space is exactly what the family hoped for — a backyard that brings people together. The homeowners still send us photos from time to time — family gatherings and kids jumping into the pool. That’s always the best kind of feedback we could ask for.
We’re especially proud of how naturally the space fits the property. Everything flows well and truly looks like it was meant to be there from the beginning.
